Design-Build Geohazard Mitigation

California’s engineering and maintenance professionals are increasingly faced with geohazards that impact the State’s critical infrastructure.  This webinar will discuss the importance of geotechnical asset management through preventative critical maintenance and timely emergency response while presenting several recent case studies of GeoStabilization International (GSI) geohazard mitigation projects that resulted from wildfires, coastal erosion, and intense precipitation events.

What you’ll learn:

  • The definition of and examples of California’s most devastating geohazards
  • The definition and importance of geotechnical asset management
  • The need for preventative critical maintenance as an alternative to long term capital improvement projects
  • Importance of a timely emergency response
  • Construction/installation procedures and field equipment
  • Innovative geohazard solutions
